Woow! How time flies! I am sharing this photo I took of February last year. I was with my two dear cousins when we watched this Pyromusical Festival. We waited for quite sometime on the parking lot to witness this fireworks show. It is an annual event held every February and the Philippines is always the host country. That night we watched Philippines opened the start of the festival, being the host, they are excluded from the competition. Australia formally started the competition as the first to showcase their lights show.
We sat on the gutter as we watched in awe of this flickering fireworks lighting up the night sky and afar you can see it being reflected on the Manila Bay waters. We were like kids, our heads held up high, all smiles painted on our faces, awaiting for every boom and clap from the sky as it bursts like fireballs. Truly a feast for our eyes and it was delightful.
‘Cause, baby, you’re a firework
Come on, show ’em what you’re worth
Make ’em go, “Aah, aah, aah”
As you shoot across the sky-y-y
This Katy Perry song definitely struck what we’ve experienced that night but that obstructing obvious lamp-post was dwarfed tremendously of those grand lights in the skyline. We don’t really care of its obstruction since we watched outside the paid spots. We were like on the outskirts of the main hall where if one has a ticket you can actually hear the synchronized burst of this fireworks to the tune of songs. Well, seeing that light show for 2 hours for free is nothing but cool.
